Should you continue to use Roundup?
Or any Glyphosate based weed killers?

In 2015 the World Health Organization's cancer agency, IARC, declared glyphosate was "Probably carcinogenic to humans" and exhibited "Limited evidence of carcinogenicity in humans for non-Hodgkins lymphoma."

And a Pro article from The Federalist.

Very Controversial Conclusion

IARC, under the purview of the World Health Organization, is the only major scientific organization to make this claim and has been heavily criticized by other international scientific groups and governmental agencies. Members of the IARC committee who worked on the report have been acused as being nothing more than environmental activists who cherry-picked questionable data to reach a politically motivated conclusion.

Even with all of the controversy Roundup and Glyphosate based weed killers are still for sale in most of the United States, but have been banned or had their use curtailed in other countries including: Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Burmuda, Czech Republic, Columbia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, France, Italy, Kuwait, Malawi, the Netherlands, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Togo, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam, with the European Parliament planning a vote shortly.
Update: 2017 EU lawmakers vote to ban glyphosate weed killer by 2022

Never-the-less environmental organizations led by Greenpeace have been mostly successful in protesting aganist the use and even the legality of Roundup. In addition, court actions have seen verdicts with big awards handed down by juries for Cancer victim plantiffs against Roundup and its creator Monsanto. Monsanto is appealing each case.

No matter what you think about the World Health Organization (WHO) or Ambulance-Chasing Lawyers you may have your own reasons to stop using Roundup (Glyphosate based) weed killers in your yard and in your garden. The Federal Drug Administration (FDA) still says Roundup is safe when used properly, but environmentalists disagree, saying that it is impossible to use it safely.

If you disagree with the critics, just be sure you are handling, mixing, and applying Roundup safely and according to label directions for your own safety.

If you agree with the critics, here are some alternative weed killers you can use instead of Roundup:
